We do our utmost most to deliver fabrics and accessories which are of the highest quality and which arrive in their best condition.
Many of our fabrics are 100% natural fibres, which are susceptible to some creasing and wrinkling. Ironing or steaming on a low heat can remove these creases, but we recommend you do not over-iron or steam as excessive heat may affect the fabric’s look and feel.
We use pigment and reactive digital print dyes which means our printed fabrics and accessories are recommend for dry cleaning only. Our woven products are also recommended for dry cleaning, to preserve their colouration and lustrous appearance.
We work with the leading printers, and specialist mills within the UK to produce our fabrics to ensure they are of the best quality. We work predominantly with natural fibres and materials, and as such, some colour fading over time is to be expected. To preserve their colour, we recommend keeping items out of direct sunlight. For curtains, lining and interlining are recommended. Natural fabrics can stretch slightly over time, but this is minimal. We also recommend keeping items away from excessive heat and moisture. Please use a Schedule 3 flame retardant interlining material with our fabrics for Upholstery.
Please note that natural fabrics usually have some inherent irregularities in the weaves. These are normal characteristics of our fabrics as they are made from natural fibres.
When ordering please allow + / - 5% tolerance on all pattern repeats and widths.
