Lihou Rug

Lihou Rug design takes inspiration from a small tidal island called Lihou, the most westerly of the Channel Islands. At low tide, the island is linked to nearby L'Erée headland on Guernsey by a quarter mile stone causeway.

60,000 knots per square metre are hand tied around individual threads and warp rods, on specially designed looms, to create this rhythmic and abstract design.

Each rug is a unique, hand made work of art, designed to last a lifetime. Hand-knotted in India, this rug is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a cut pile, for durability and softness underfoot.
