The story behind Claire Gaudion's Rocquaine fabric design is in Guernsey. ‘Rocquaine’ is a beautiful sandy bay along the south west coast of the island, extending into a picturesque granite reef which uncovers with the tides. The changing colours of the sea over the sand and rocks on the incoming and outgoing tides inspired the layers of blues, greys and neutral hues in the design, creating a sense of movement.
