A Day at the Mill January 17 2014

Whitchurch Silk Mill very kindly arranged for Claire to spend a 'day at the mill' today, to experience these wonderful Victorian power looms, dating from the 1870s, at work, with their very experienced weaver Marie. Here are a few of Claire's photos of the winding, warping and weaving going on today at the mill. The Whitchurch Silk Mill is open to visitors Tues-Sun.
