This week we return to our Interior Stylists blog series and take a brief look at the work of Olivia Gregory.
Olivia Gregory is a freelance London-based creative director and stylist. Her early career designing sets for theatre and film, and then the distinctive style she developed as senior style editor and deputy decoration editor at House & Garden magazine are very evident in the powerful visual stories she tells in her work. Olivia has an impressive client list.
From Olivia Gregory’s portfolio, we are featuring a few of her stunning still life images, which beautifully capture her skill in mixing form and texture with atmospheric results. Mixing the warm glows of the metallic forms or rich woods with an ice cold grey on the walls and surfaces, Olivia creates a perfectly balanced image. The textured background finishes make the bold forms and accents of colour ever-more striking, and the ceramic pot dipped in orange alongside that blast of cobalt blue are incredible. These images are so full of energy.
