This week we continue our Interior Stylists blog series with a look at the work of Claudia Bryant. Claudia’s work ranges from editorial and commercial styling to interior design, and design consultancy.
Before her freelance career, Claudia's experience spanned furnishing textiles, working with international designers, private commissions and editorial work, and the role of decorating editor at Homes and Antiques Magazine. Her editorial clients include Living Etc., Homes & Gardens and Period Living, and her portfolio of commercial clients includes The Chelsea Flower Show, The Rug Company, Heal’s, and Dulux among others.
In the rooms we’re featuring from Claudia Bryant’s editorial portfolio, Claudia skillfully mixes intricate surface patterns and textures. Geometric tufted and carved rugs, and decorative objects, mirror the designs of mosaic floor tiles. The layered effect that she had created in the rooms, is incredibly inviting. Subtle tonal palettes of greys and blues are cleverly highlighted with accents of whites, yellow or a shot of fuchsia pink, adding light and brightening the interiors.
We have mixed in a few of accessories which could work well in these spaces, our Fermain Lambswool Cushion, or Fermain Silk Merino Mini-Throw, or Gull Rock Rug to add that beautiful yellow accent.
