Fermain Woven Scarf

Our woven patterns are inspired from a kaleidoscopic vision of the colours and landscapes of Claire Gaudion's beloved island: Guernsey. Designed through an exploration of traditional weaving techniques, this scarf is woven using a stitched double cloth structure. This technique creates a beautiful scarf which has a different colour and design on each side. The zig-zag pattern is inspired by Fermain bay, on the east coast of the island, where the sea changes colour throughout the day.

Handwoven in Great Britain.

Packaged in a beautiful bespoke British-made grey buckram box.

Made from 50% Silk 50% Superfine Merino

Dry cleaning is recommend to maintain yarn colour. This scarf can be hand-washed in cold water and dried flat, but this may result in slight loss of colour.
